Founded in Nairobi. Global by design.
Founded in 2015 by Gideon Ondari in Nairobi, Daf-Devs began as a cybersecurity consultancy with a clear conviction: that organisations deserved technology partners who built for security from the first line of code — not as an afterthought.
Over the following years, the practice expanded into full-stack software engineering, process automation, cloud infrastructure, and proprietary SaaS product development — always anchored in the security rigour of our founding discipline.
Today, with 30+ specialists operating across London and Nairobi, we serve 75+ clients worldwide — from microfinance institutions across Africa to enterprise organisations in Europe and North America.

Daf-Devs founded by Gideon Ondari in Nairobi, focused on cybersecurity consulting and secure web development for East African businesses.

LinkedIn ProfileGideon founded Daf-Devs in 2015 with a singular conviction: that organisations deserved technology built with security at its core, not bolted on as a compliance exercise. Over the following decade, he grew that conviction into a full-spectrum engineering practice spanning cybersecurity, software development, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
Under his technical leadership, Daf-Devs achieved ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance, expanded to two continents, and built proprietary platforms serving users across legal, financial services, career, and security operations sectors.
Gideon holds a degree in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance (London, UK) and a B.Sc. in Civil & Structural Engineering (DeKUT, Kenya) — a combination that brings systems-level thinking and technical rigour to every product and infrastructure decision.

Daisy is the operational architecture behind Daf-Devs' growth from a regional consultancy to a global engineering practice. She manages delivery pipelines, client engagement, and team operations across the London and Nairobi offices — ensuring every engagement meets the quality standard our clients rely on.
Her systems approach to operations has been foundational to sustaining the 99.9% project delivery success rate our clients experience, and to maintaining ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance across a growing, distributed team.
Prior to Daf-Devs, Daisy led operations functions for technology organisations across Africa and Europe, with particular focus on building delivery infrastructure that supports high-growth environments without sacrificing precision or client experience.
